DOOMExtract is a tool that lets you extract the gameresources. It can also repack the resources file, allowing you to modify existing files, add new ones and also delete files.

See Also: Basic guide on getting started. This has been fixed in 1. Files with fileType! Note that files that don't already exist in the resources will be added. To set a new files fileType append the fileType to its filename.

Will delete files from the resources package. Full filepaths should be specified. If a file isn't found in the package a warning will be given. I also tried enabling extra demons by editing the.

Probably missing files for them, or needs extra mods. You can edit the extracted files and pack them again: Reddit. It'll also slow down your computer quite a bit, and the process itself may take a little longer if you're trying to do too many other things while its working.

If you can, stick to web browsing during the process. SDD may speed things up significantly. After that's finished, the mod should be in effect as soon as you start the game and the developer message will always pop up at the main menu.

As the section here hints, this is just a mod example, but I'll go over the file structure in just a bit. You'll need to create a mods folder anyway so might as well leave it there. Do you think it would be possible to modify Snapmap? Things like no limitations, more props from the campaigns and more advanced stuff like creating 3D models and applying pre-made textures to them.

Added Jan 12th, Size Both the exterior and the interior of this church are amazing and form the backdrop to many views around St Petersburg. It really is a shame that the scaffolding was making the beauty of the building but they have to keep it in good repair.

A really majestic building that has to be seen to be appreciated. The iconic onion doom roof caps makes it stand out and easy to identify. Well worth a visit but bewarry of pick pockets and tricksters trying to sell you small items on the footpaths as soon as they see where your money is you are marked ready for the pickpockets. I understand that this is a problem in a lot of big cities but here it is much safer to buy items in a recognised souvenir shop.

One thing we did not notice was any one begging however there were very pushy people try to rob you! Suitable visit for all ages and abilities. This building is a most spectacular sight, and is alongside one of the many canals in St Petersburg. There are many photo opportunities as you walk around the outside, but during our visit some of the domes were being refurbished.

There is also a small market on the approach.

Seeing this for the first time took my breath away - it is quite stunning. This is well worth a visit and also it is worth paying to see the inside. We went in September so the crowds were a lot less and we also pre-booked so again just missed the queues. This church has a spectacular display of mosaic works and marble. It is worth a visit but i felt it a bit expensive considering the amount of time spent there compared with other attractions in the city.

The crowds were also daunting and spoil the atmosphere. I would say the inside of the church is worth seeing only if you love art or want to see the elaborate interior and are prepared to put up with being jostled by a large group of tourists. I also found the lighting did not produce good photos. This is part of a 2 day action packed independent tour organised for our conference group. Of course everyone recognises the most iconic building in St Petersburg. When we got there in the late morning there was a large crowd waiting to get in.

We stood around for about 30 minutes before we were given our allocated time to visit. Once inside it was a crush of tourists trying to take pictures and squashing each other.Below you will find a detailed description of all secrets available on Resource Operations level.

The first secret can be found at the start of the level.

Breath taking - Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood

Turn around after restoring the power and jump above the corridor. The narrow tunnel will lead you to additional armor. Once you restore power and walk one level below, keep going ahead until the encounter with Imps. If at the start of the battle you look up you will notice a green armor. Go back there after killing all enemies and then go to the opposite side of the narrow sidewalk. Your target is the platform on the left. In order to reach it you must first climb on the nearby handrail.

At the top of the platform you will find a lever that will unlock the classic map one floor below. Keep going forward after encountering the first Possessed Engineer. You will reach a larger room with large group of enemies. Once you kill all demons you can walk to the other side of the location and pick up the log lying under the wall.

Go to the right from the yellow door once you obtain the yellow key. Behind the net you will find a passage to the elevator. The tunnel above will lead you to the second yellow blockade. On the right from the corridor you should notice a closed hatch.

Open it, walk down and kill the enemies that are there. Once you find the first guard, go back to the tunnel crossroad and go straight. At the end you can walk out through the hatch with blood.

Pick up the Pulse Rifle above and then turn around and jump even higher. You will reach a room in which there was a nest. Use the elevator below. After riding one floor up walk next to the drone and enter the room on the right.

At the end there will be a tunnel on the left.

It will lead you to the second Elite Guard and to additional armor. Go to the other end of the location after the battle during which you received the Berserk power up. There is a green armor there. There is a large chest between the armor and the elevator. You can use it to jump on the ventilation shaft. Keep going ahead and observe the right wall. After you restore the power at the start of the level you should go back to the first location and use the small panel on the post.

This will unlock passage leading to the floor below. There you will find two Possessed. Kill them and go further, to the narrow passage with two other opponents. It is best to complete this challenge on them.

Simply hit them both with the butt of the rifle and then position yourself so that they are in one line for the shot. Use the Charged Burst upgrade which will allow your shotgun to fire a few bullets in one quick series. It is best to perform Glory Kills on the two first groups of encountered Possessed. To make them different, always try to stand under different angle towards the opponent before you perform the execution.

At the start of the mission you will learn about a new way of obtaining weapon upgrades - the Mission Challenges. From now on at the start of each mission you will receive a challenge list for completing which you are awarded with upgrade point. In this level you must kill two Possessed with one shotgun shot, perform 5 different Glory Kills on the Possessed and discover 3 secrets.

You can complete the second challenge very quickly [1].

First kill a group of Possessed and the Imp that are ahead of you. Kill the Imp in first order, then play with the remaining opponents by performing Glory Kills on them. In order to perform different executions, you must walk towards the stunned opponents from different angles. By attacking from the front, side and the back you should easily perform three kill types. Once you're done, open the door on the left and kill the enemies inside the corridor in similar manner. If you will repeat the executions from different sides, your protagonist will surely perform at least five different types and complete the challenge.

At the end of the tunnel you will find few items and a panel that allows restoring power. Once you do it, turn around and jump above the corridor. By walking through the narrow corridor you will find the first secret, an additional armor [2].

Monster Resource WAD

I remember a team trying to do the same thing with Rage when it came out they could only get a tree of the contents and had problems trying to repack the files for the game to read. If you use "Resource hacker" a program modifying. With this program I discovered 2 unreleased multiplayer weapons: The Magnum appears to be some kind of harpoon gun and the Nailgun visually similar to the nailgun from Quake 1.

FBX export isnt working. Im just looking for the models alone, I dont need the rigging, is there away to convert the FBX to obj file? I dont have the latest 3dsmax I only have and it crashes Blender because the FBX importer is outdated. Ive managed to get the models alone unrigged by importing it into Unity : but I dont have textures :. All of the textures are packed onto huge atlases - gigantic single images that are streamed into the video card's RAM and then streamed into the game at the resolution required depending on distance to the camera, etc.

What this effectively means is that there are no "texture" files to choose from. The only way that people have been able to get textures out so far is by using run-time capture utilities to capture texture pages tiles and then reassemble them manually. Pretty much a huge PITA. Can you share the code that actually reads the resources and can be used to extract the files?

Or maybe some specification on how the format works so I can write my own code. I'm just interested in this kinda stuff. Only registered members can share their thoughts.

So come on!The Monster Resource WAD is a creation from the ZDoom community, spearheaded by Kara Rader Nanami and providing several new monsters to the Doom bestiary; which have since found their way to several other mods. It eventually was superseded by the Realm "Beastiary".

The custom monsters are split into two parts: possessed zombies are placed in humans. Both are found in the same zip archive, as well as two demo maps allowing to test the monsters. The afrit not to be confused with the Hexen afrit is a fiery-red flying variant of the baron of Hell.

It has no legs, instead its lower body is made of flames and sparks. It has a variety of fire-based attacks and is constantly orbited by two flaming meteors similar to those it can throw at its enemies.

The sprites were created by Espithough the attack frames were based on those created by Kristus for the "arch-demon" in Nimrod: Ixnay on the Hombre. Its behavior was coded mostly by Nanami. Originally created by Quasar for the defunct Eternity TCthe arachnophyte is a weaker spider mastermind whose legs have been replaced by jet thrusters, allowing it to fly. Coming from the Skulltag roster, this is a dark-red baron of Hell with black leg fur and thrice as much health as a Hell knight.

Another Skulltag monster, this is a cacodemon Jack-o'-lantern has twice as much health and fires a faster projectile. It has been given a new sprite set edited by Lexus Alyuswhich shows them as bright orange, hollowed cacodemons with the eye plucked out and lit by a black candle placed inside of them.

Using original sprites by Vader and code from TheDarkArchonthese undead cacodemons are available in two versions that differ only in their attack types. Created by Nanami from the spider mastermind chassis and the cyberdemon 's upper body, this monster combines both of Doom's boss monsters into one. There are three variants of the dark imp concept.

All have twice as much health as the regular imp and the same recolored imp sprites, however they vary by their attack patterns. Nanami's own version shoots a homing projectile; the Skulltag version shoots a fast projectile; and the Void version which, in Void itself, was merely a reskin of the undead warrior from Heretic randomly shoots either a weak or a powerful projectile.

Visually similar to Skulltag's abaddon, this gray cacodemon created by Tormentor attacks with a spread of three fireballs.

Two small flying creatures created by Espi from Hexen sprites, with code by Nanami. The dragon familiar, based on scaled-down and cleaned up death wyvern sprites, has a ranged breath weapon; the bat familiar, using the bat SFX from Hexen, is limited to melee attacks.

Based by Graf Zahl on the Mordeth enemies that use the same green-colored Hexen afrit sprites, this is a basic enemy, similar to the afrits and fire gargoyles : it flies and shoots fireballs. A creation of Espi, based on the Hell knight's legs and the Heretic ophidian 's body, it attacks by throwing volleys of bright yellow projectiles from its staff.

Using sprites created by Torm based on the recolored body of a Hell noble with black skin and white leg fur, and a head taken from the beta lost soul, this monster has been coded by TheDarkArchon to use two different projectile attacks. Another Hell noble wielding equipment, this creation of Tormentor is a baron with a copperish tan skin carrying a recolored centaur shield. Originally a concept from Nick Baker 's Doom Beastiary by Espi, it was completed by Espi and given its combat behavior by Nanami, alternating between five different attacks, including the ability to summon familiars.

The sprites are created using elements from several Hexen sprite sets, notably the centaur and the cleric.Author - Sergii 'iOrange' Kudlai. Use Extract button to simply extract file or the whole folder onto disk. Use Export button to extract and convert textures and models into readable formats!
